Community Guidelines
Overview
TORSOE AMIGO is a community of medical missionaries that has been organized to help, support, share with, and learn from one another. It is also a place for students and teachers of the TORSOE Wellness Institute to collaborate and communicate.Â
Therefore, it is our goal to make TORSOE AMIGO a safe. comfortable, godly community of like-minded believers. Please adhere to the community guidelines so that God is glorified in our efforts to foster unity and support.
Guidelines
- As this community is organized to promote Wholistic, Biblical Wellness, that which is promoted should be in harmony with the Bible as we understand it and any other areas of inspiration that the Bible promotes. If you are not sure if your viewpoint is biblical, come to the Pastor or one designated by the ministry and inquire before sharing your view with anyone on the TORSOE AMIGO platform. If we hold a view that you do not believe is biblical, we are approachable. We will make arrangements to hear your viewpoint as long as you share it succinctly, kindly, and reasonably.  “To the law and to the testimony, if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.” Isaiah 8:20
- Treat others as you would like to be treated. “Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.” Matthew 7:12.
- Â Be kind and courteous in your communications. “And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.” Ephesians 4:32.
- Although we do not separate health from the gospel, TORSOE AMIGO is primarily a place to promote health. We use other venues to promote doctrinal topics. “To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven.” Ecclesiastes 3:1
- Please do not show pictures of people in tight, revealing, and / or seductive clothing. “In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel….” 1 Timothy 2:9
- TORSOE AMIGO is not a dating site or a site to join for the purpose of finding a mate. “For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark.” Matthew 24:38.
-  Please respect the privacy of others. “Therefore the prudent shall keep silence in that time; for it is an evil time.” Amos 5:13.
- Please notify us at TORSOE Ministry if you feel that the guidelines are being violated.
Please Do Not:
- Communicate or act in an inappropriate manner.
- Share anyone’s private information without their expressed, written permission.
- Make personal attacks,Â
- Use the TORSOE AMIGO for any purpose other than being a blessing to others and being blessed.
Communication Responsibilities
TORSOE AMIGO is an online community designed to help medical missionaries be a blessing to other medical missionaries
If there is some area that you can help with information, please share so that others may learn. If there is some area wherein other colleagues might be able to help you in your medical missionary journey, please reach out to the community.
Consequences
If the community guidelines are violated, you may be temporarily or permanently removed from the TORSOE AMIGO community. Thank you for your compliance.
